Revue économique et sociale : bulletin de la Société d'Etudes Economiques et Sociales
The Revue Economique et Sociale ("Economic and Social Review"), the bulletin from the society of the same name, was founded between 1942 and 1943 to promote economic and social debate by publishing articles by researchers and professionals on the burning questions of the day. Even now, the review still seeks to provide a space in which readers can have access to the global key players on the significant issues in the economic, social and political arena from an informed and precise perspective.
Set up in 1943, the Société d'études économiques et sociales ("Society of economic and social studies"), is a think-tank for economic and social issues in Switzerland and on a global scale as well as an institution for fostering dialogue between the university and business circles. It enjoys complete political independence and is not bound by any doctrine.
The Society publishes the RES - Revue économique et sociale, which provides French-speaking Switzerland with one of ist most important links between theorists and researchers on the one hand and professionals and decision-makers from the economic and socio-economic sectors on the other.
