The ETH Library is the provider of the digitised journals. It does not own any copyrights to the journals and is not responsible for their content. The rights usually lie with the publishers or the external rights holders.

The documents published on E-Periodica are freely available for individuals to use for private, non-commercial and educational purposes. Files or printouts from E-Periodica may be passed on with a correct citation and a reference to E-Periodica.

Publishing images in print and online publications, as well as on social media channels or websites, is only permitted with the prior consent of the rights holders. Linking to pages within E-Periodica is possible and encouraged at any time.

The entire digital offering is the property of the ETH Library. Systematic storage of either part or all of the digital offering on other servers is only permitted in justified exceptional cases and requires the written consent of the rights holders and the ETH Library.
