Digital Object Identifier

The use of a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) enables the stable and unambiguous referencing of electronic documents and offers citation security. The DOI system is operated by the DOI Foundation.

On E-Periodica, each article has a DOI consisting of a prefix beginning with 10. followed by / and a suffix beginning with seals-. By adding https://doi.org/, the identifier becomes a link that allows the DOI to be resolved and redirects to the referenced article.

IIIF

All content on E-Periodica has an IIIF manifest. The link to the IIIF manifest appears in the info section of the viewer. By clicking on «Mirador Viewer», the content can be loaded directly in the external Mirador IIIF viewer. The keyboard shortcut below also takes you there.
