"Politique de l'éducation" is the annual journal from the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK). It was first published under this title in 1972, and follows two other titles ( Archiv für das schweizerische Unterrichtswesen, Jahrbuch des Unterrichtswesens in der Schweiz) which together cover almost a century of thinking on education and educational theory. It contains in-depth articles, annual reports on teaching in Switzerland , statistics, as well as federal and state laws and decrees. The most recent volumes are made up of collections of articles on a specific topic. This journal is a valuable source of information for historians of education from the end of the 19th through the 20th century.

The Conférence suisse des directeurs cantonaux de l'instruction publique coordinates the work of Swiss states in the fields of education and culture. It comprises the 26 state officials responsible for education in their respective state.
