Schweizer Fotomarkt : die Zeitung für Fotohandel, Fachfotografie und Industrie
«Fotomarkt» was published between 27 August 1979 and 1 July 1981, with a total of nineteen issues appearing under the Photographie publishing house in Schaffhausen. The magazine was aimed at the photography trade and professional photographers. It provided background information on new products, market developments and trends in the photography industry, supplemented by interviews and trade topics. The magazine deliberately cultivated a style adapted to the tabloid journalism of the time and addressed many of the current topics in a critical to provocative manner. After two years, this led to the magazine being discontinued due to a target group that was too small and an advertising boycott by photo suppliers.
